The problem of pets being abandoned
By Jia Cunzhen
Animal abandonment has long been a very serious social issue, but it also has an impact on people. Particularly in Malaysia, due to a few religious factors. There will be more prejudice against stray dogs. There are three explanations for leaving pets behind. The first reason is that owners are compelled to abandon their animals because they are unable to afford the costs of treating their pets' illnesses due to their financial situation. The desire to own a pet is the second factor. I eventually realise that I am not suited for getting along with animals. The third is due to unique situations, such as having children at home or other factors.

I don't feel secure enough right now to take care of another child.” said Jin Hua Lim.She studies Chinese journalism at UTAR and has a knack for spotting deficiencies in society.
Pets don't view themselves as abandoned, according to Lim. They are aware of their owners. They are anticipating being returned to their homes inside. She then declares that she will not acquire a street-side pet.
Lim provides some suggestions for addressing the issue of pet abandonment. According to her, the government should enact pertinent regulations and legislation to prevent individuals from leaving their pets.

MI XiaoRui is a 20 years old Chinese girl and she is studing in Nanjing university,She told that,She would always go home and bring some cat food or snacks in disposable plates for the stray cats to eat when she returned home at night and saw stray cats at the door. She would watch over them while they were eating to prevent any passing kids from disturbing them, and after they were done, she would dispose of the plates in the trash.
She said that “I already have a pet at home, so I won't adopt an abandoned animal. Although I am worried about the cat being bullied, if I run into them I will assist them.”
She made some of her own recommendations in response to the question of how to address the issue of abandoned pets, including fining owners who fail to care for their animals and requiring prospective pet owners to complete questionnaires in order to ensure that they are truly prepared to take on that responsibility rather than simply getting a pet out of a sense of obligation.
Without a doubt, the issue of abandoned pets warrants our attention. Each of us has a social responsibility to care for or assist abandoned animals as a way to advance society and continuously alter our behaviour.
